News & Events

Our studio is fully closed to stop the spread during this pandemic until further notice. We will be sending all COVID-19 updates for our dance families via email only so please be sure to check your inbox. All our dates for the events mentioned below, including any summer camps will be postponed at this point until it's certain when we are safe to go back.

Wishing everyone a healthy and safe break while we enjoy this down time with our family. We truly miss everyone and can't wait to be together dancing again!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 19th!

The afternoon will be focused on classes consisting of the breakdown of Turns and Jumps, Contemporary, Hip Hop and a Princess Musical Theatre class for our little ones! This is an opportunity for our students to develop their technique and really improve their dance ability, not only as they grow, but as we approach our big show at the end of the season. Not to mention a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon with their peers and experience something new together! These classes will be taught by BLESSYL BUAN, a sought after Dance Conditioning Specialist, Chiropractor, Pilates Instructor and Dance Artist who was a previous student here at JBSD, KWAME MENSAH who currently teaches for us, and has been seen in numerous music videos, tours and featured in movies and award shows and KALINA SUTAROSKI who also teaches for us and has done workshops all over Canada, China, Brazil and the Philippines, and is a former dancer and captain for the Raptors Dance Pak! Please find the bio's of each instructor on our Instagram page.

We are so excited to be able to share their knowledge and experience in our new facility and plan to continue these intensive days going forward. Dancers thrive and only get better with the more opportunities they’re given to expand their knowledge and technique. Although we are a non-competitive studio, we really strive for proper dance education and giving our kids new experiences with different classes and a variety of teachers. Our new facility allows us to offer these intensives to our students, and parents can get involved in our Adult Hip Hop class!
